What's this page?This page exemplifies how you can use DynarchMenu in conjunction with additional CSS and HTML techniques in order to give a more "application" feel to your pages. On the right side there is an IFRAME which can contain any document. As you can see by clicking the menu options, in that IFRAME we can load any URL, even external documents, and the menu will still display right above it. BrowsersThis page works well with Gecko-based browsers (Firefox, Mozilla, Netscape 7+) and Internet Explorer for Windows 5.5+. Important (v2.8)Please see the source of this page and note an "onload" handler for the frame. It calls the "initIframe()" function which further calls DynarchMenu.watchFrame() in order to setup custom event handlers for that frame. Without this trick, the menu won't work correctly (e.g. clicking inside the frame won't close the menus). |
